Full Strawberry Moon " Honey Moon "
An event that last happened almost 100 years
ago will take place again when a full moon appears in the night sky on
Friday, June 13.
The Old Farmer's Almanac states June's full moon's name is the "Full Strawberry Moon." It reports the name was given because the Algonquin tribes knew it as a signal to gather ripening fruit.
It is also referred to as the "Honey Moon."
According to universetoday.com, the last time a full moon occurred on a Friday the 13th in the month of June was in 1919.
The Old Farmer's Almanac also stated it is often known as the "Full Rose Moon" in Europe because strawberries are not native to the country.

Blood Moon 2014 Lunar Eclipse
The Blood Moon
Figured I would give this Blood moon a shot sense we had descent weather and I was still awake after taking care of my daughter.
and here is a quick example of what I got.
Since 1 AD, this Tetrad has occurred on these holy days a total of 7 times. In 2014-2015, it will be the 8th time. It won’t occur again for another 500 years.
Tetrads of four sequential lunar eclipses with no intervening partial lunar eclipses occurs 6 other times in this century, but this is the only time it occurs on the Jewish holy days of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles.
The last time that four blood red moons occurred together was in 1967-1968, probably related to the recapture of Jerusalem by Israel. The time that the tetrad occurred before this was in 1949-1950, probably related to Israel becoming a nation. Before this time, the last occurrence was 1493-1494, probably related to the expulsion of the Jews from Spain.
Since 1 AD, this tetrad has occurred on these holy days a total of 7 times. In 2014-2015, it will be the 8th time. It won’t occur again for another 500 years.
Jewish religious year begins with the total solar eclipse March 20, 2015, then two weeks later the third total lunar eclipse occurs on Passover, April 4, 2015, and then the civil year beginning with the total solar eclipse on September 13, 2015 followed two weeks later by the fourth total blood red moon on the Feast of Succoth, September 28, 2015.

Panorama at Devils Den
Heading out of Devils Den we stopped at this little picnic area overlooking the lake/dam/visitor center and thought this would be the best spot for a Panorama.

Relaxed Woods
After walking just over a mile and half at Devils Den State Park we came across this great looking bench and thought it would look good in HDR also.
